Building Conservation Work by The Lime Company Wales

We are really pleased to be working with Chris Wright and Cliff Blundell author of Precious Inheritance and founder of the The Lime Company Wales in conserving Pantyrhwch...

From their site survey it seems the old place is reasonably sound and The Lime Company (TLC) will be stating work towards the end of the year removing the "modern" finishes (concrete, paint, etc.) that have been applied in various places and then during next year reapplying the original lime finishes, repairing where necessary the woodwork, floors and roof

We are also looking forward to reinstating the "shimle fawr" and putting in a woodburing stove with a boiler for hot water/heating, linked also to solar panels....this means that whilst we've had to give up on the Rayburn in the kitchen due to space limitations we will still be able to have heating and hot water from home grown coppice and solar.
