The Farming at Pant yr Hwch

The 11 acre smallholding is stocked with a small flock of pedigree rare breed Badger-face sheep,

woolly outdoor pigs,

free range chickens, ducks and bee hive.
Together with our vegetable garden, polytunnel and fruit orchard we aim to produce as much of our own food as possible as well as a little extra to share with our guests. The wool from our sheep is woven locally to produce heirloom Welsh wool blankets.

Our farm practices complement the local wildlife and the pond attracts wildfowl, as well as the occasional kingfisher. Animal- and bird-spotters can look out for badgers, rabbits, foxes, tawny owls, and the pair of red kites that are often seen nesting near the tents.
